Chaudhary Bansi Lal University (CBLU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Deepti Dharmani called upon Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini regarding new development works and projects being undertaken in the university.

The V-C said that the state government’s policies for the welfare of the youth and employees had created an atmosphere of hope among the university staff.

She expressed hope that the government would show generosity towards the university and strengthen the education system by providing adequate resources for fresh appointments and construction of new buildings. She stated that this would enable the university to provide employment-oriented academic programmes to the youth and play a positive role in the construction of ‘Viksit Bharat’.

She held a detailed discussion with the Chief Minister regarding many development policies, including approval of new posts in the university, land for college campus on the old premises, girls hostel, grant for the construction of new buildings, etc.

The V-C said that the Chief Minister showed his positive attitude on all these issues and assured the varsity that action would soon be taken on this issue.

The Vice-Chancellor also requested the Chief Minister to provide land for the construction of ‘Golden Jubilee Campus College’ on the old campus of the university. She said that her meeting with the Chief Minister was successful and positive and hoped that work on all the proposals would start soon.

Prof Dharmani presented detailed information to the CM about the campaigns being run by the university to make the youth self-reliant by providing them employment-oriented and quality education embedded in cultural values.
