Mahendragarh district that is located on the Haryana-Rajasthan border, has candidates from all parties in different Assembly constituencies promising to bring industries to woo voters for the upcoming Assembly elections.

BJP candidate from Nangal Choudhary and two-time MLA Abhay Singh Yadav, while addressing a poll meeting at Sirohi village, said his next target was to develop Nangal Choudhary constituency as an industrial area.

“Any industrial unit needs a road and rail route in the particular area. In the past 10 years of the BJP regime, extensive work has been done in both areas in the Nangal Chaudhary Assembly constituency. Now, it’s time to bring industries here so as to generate employment avenues. Unemployment in the area will be eliminated after industrial units are established here,” said Yadav.

Though efforts were made to develop Industrial Modern Township (IMT) at Khudana village in the district, but they did not bear fruit.

Besides Yadav, Congress candidate from Mahendragarh and former Chief Parliamentary Secretary Rao Dan Singh is also flagging the issue of unemployment in his poll meetings stating that the setting up of industries is necessary to create employment opportunities at the local level.

I will execute the project without further delay on coming to power. It will help locals to a large extent in get employment,” Rao claimed.
