Transport, Energy and Labour Minister Anil Vij has decided to resume listening to grievances of residents of Ambala Cantonment. The minister has announced that he would address public grievances at the PWD rest house here from 10 am to 12 noon every Monday.

Though he listens to public grievances at his residence daily, he has decided to hold dedicated grievances’ meeting every Monday in the presence of officials of various departments.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
