Former Haryana Home Minister and Ambala Cantonment MLA Anil Vij today targeted the Congress and said it’s leaders were busy in fighting a battle of supremacy within the party.

The six-time MLA and Ambala Cantonment candidate Anil Vij said, “The Congress is a group of factions and they have been fighting a battle of supremacy within in the party from the day Election Commission of India announced the dates of election in Haryana. They have been trying to pull each other down. The delay in announcing party candidates indicates that there infighting in the party.”

Confident of retaining his seat, Vij today filed his nomination and said he will register a win with a big margin. He also held a roadshow from Gandhi Ground to SDM Complex through the Sadar area before filing his papers. However, no other senior leader from the state leadership accompanied him.
