Anil Vij faces farmers’ ire during rally

A group of farmers under the banner of BKU (Shaheed Bhagat Singh) raised slogans against former Home Minister and Ambala Cantonment BJP candidate Anil Vij at Garnala village on Sunday.

When Vij reached Garnala to address a meeting, a group of farmers started raising the slogans against him and the BJP. Agitating farmers said they had been protesting against BJP leaders as they were not allowed to go to Delhi to raise their demands. They tried to block the passage by placing tractors on the road.

Later, Vij raised the matter with the EC, Haryana DGP, Ambala SP and DC and Ambala Cantonment SDM. Similarly, farmers protested against Naraingarh BJP candidate Pawan Saini. The farmers also questioned and opposed Mullana BJP candidate Santosh Sarwan.
