Ambala MC staffer gets notice for keeping file pending for 446 days
Deputy Commissioner, Ambala, Parth Gupta has issued directions to issue a show-cause notice to an employee of the Municipal Corporation, Ambala, for keeping a file related to change of land use (CLU) pending for 446 days.
During a meeting of the District Level Clearance Committee (DLCC), the DC came to know about the pending file and directed Additional Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta to issue a show-cause notice. The DC also directed the official to take action on the pending file.
Earlier, Gupta, also enquired about 55 pending files in various departments, including Pollution Control Board, Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, District Town Planning, Labour Department, Municipal Council, Ambala Sadar, Municipal Corporation, Ambala, and Municipal Committees of Barara and Naraingarh.
He directed the officials to take appropriate action on the pending files and update the report on the portal.
“All officials must ensure that no file is kept pending in their respective departments so that the applicants are not forced to wait and the beneficiaries could get benefits of the government schemes. In case of negligence, action will be initiated against officials,” the DC said.
He further informed that financial assistance would be provided to 81 applicants to set up industries in the district by the MSME, for which the process has been initiated. As many as 253 applicants were received by the MSME department, of which 119 cases were forwarded to the financial institutions.
