Agriculture Minister meets Canadian delegation

Taking a step ahead in the development of the sectors of agriculture, horticulture, dairying and fisheries, Haryana Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare JP Dalal met a Canadian delegation and discussed various avenues which could be explored in these areas.
The Canadian delegation comprising of Consulate General, Canadian Embassy, Patrick Hebert, and their Trade Commissioner Akhil Choudhary pointed out that there was a requirement of horticulturalists in Canada and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) could be signed with University of Horticulture to formulate a curriculum to meet the demand.
Hebert said, “We also want to expand our trade relations with Haryana which would be beneficial to both with the exchange of best practices and signing of MoUs.”
