AAP’s fifth list out, 70 candidates declared so far

The AAP has released its third, fourth and fifth list of candidates, taking the total declared contestants to 70 for the Assembly polls.

In the third list, released on Tuesday night, there were 11 candidates, including Sunil Rao, brother-in-law of actor Rajkumar Rao, who has been fielded from Ateli. Sunil Rao, BJP’s election management committee member, had joined the AAP on Tuesday.

Another BJP leader Satish Yadav has been fielded from Rewari. From the Congress, Backward Class leader Bheem Singh Rathi joined the party on Tuesday. He has been fielded from Radaur. The party has fielded Pravin Guskhani from Garhi Sampla-Kiloi. He will face former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda from the Congress.

The fourth list of 21 candidates, released on Wednesday, has the name of Kavita Dalal, a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wrestler. She is pitted against Olympian Vinesh Phogat (Congress) from Julana. In the fifth list, there are nine candidates.
