4 withdraw names in Palwal, 7 in Faridabad

A total of 33 candidates are left in the fray for the three Assembly segments of Palwal, Hodal and Hathin falling in Palwal after the withdrawal of the nomination papers by a total of four candidates on the last day of the withdrawal today.

The candidates who have withdrawn include Sonu Rani in Palwal, Prateek Rohilla in Hodal and Ravi Dutt and Mrinal Chaudhary in Hathin segments, according to district election officials. While Palwal has been left with a total of 13 candidates, Hodal and Hathin have been left with 12 and eight contestants respectively. Meanwhile, with the withdrawal of seven nominations in Faridabad, a total of 64 candidates are left in the fray for the five segments of Faridabad, NIT, Badkhal ,Ballabgarh, Tigaon and Prithla seats in the district.

The candidates who withdrew their names include Nisha Balmiki of the Azad Samaj Party in Faridabad, Neetu Maan and Rajesh Kumar (Independents) in Prithla, Manvir Bhadaa and Rajat Bhadana (Independents) in NIT, Deepak Yadav and Navin Sharma (Independents) in Ballabgarh.
