4 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized
A team of the Haryana State Enforcement Bureau has seized several vehicles which were found indulging in illegal transportation of mining minerals and in illegal clay mining in the district.
Inspector Shyam Sunder of Haryana State Enforcement Bureau, Yamunanagar unit, said that they got information that illegal mining of clay was being done in Kotra Kahan Singh village of the district.
He said that after getting information, they visited the village and found an earth-moving machine and a tractor-trolley indulging in illegal clay mining. The earth-moving machine and tractor-trolley were seized.
He added that they also conducted a checking drive of vehicles in the Pratap Nagar area yesterday.
He said that during the checking drive, they found two trucks transporting mining minerals illegally. He said that those trucks were also seized.
As per available information, the seized vehicles were parked in the mining yard situated at Kharwan road in Jagadhri.
“We are doing regular checking and cracking the whip on persons who are found indulging in illegal mining and illegal transportation of mining minerals,” said Inspector Shyam Sunder of Haryana State Enforcement Bureau, Yamunanagar.
