3 GJUST students secure jobs through on-campus placement
The Training and Placement Cell at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Hisar, has commenced its placement season on a high note, with three students landing jobs during the first on-campus drive of the session. The selected students — Anshul Bishnoi (BTech Electrical Engineering), Bibhuti Kumar Jha (BTech Civil Engineering), and Meenakshi (MBA Business Analytics) — have been offered competitive packages of Rs 8 LPA by Blinkit Private Limited, a leading company based in Gurugram.
Prof Narsi Ram Bishnoi, Vice-Chancellor, congratulated the students and reiterated the university’s commitment to cultivating a highly skilled workforce through state-of-the-art courses and infrastructure. “This successful start to the placement season reflects GJUST’s dedication to providing exceptional opportunities to its students,” he remarked.
During the pre-placement talk, Ishita Garg, HR representative from Blinkit, explained the company’s role as a prominent e-commerce marketplace specialising in rapid grocery delivery services. She expressed enthusiasm about the talented pool of students at GJUST.
Dr Partap Singh, Director of Placements, elaborated on the recruitment process, which involved a rigorous evaluation comprising an aptitude test, communication assessment, technical interviews, and HR interviews. Last year, 385 students received job offers from prestigious companies through on-campus placements.
