3 crushed to death in road mishap in Gohana
Three persons were crushed to death near the Reliance petrol pump on the Rohtak-Panipat NH-71 A in Gohana on Saturday.
All three victims were on a motorcycle which was hit by a truck from the rear side. The police have registered a case and began a probe into the matter.
The deceased have been identified as Mohit of Khojkipur Ahir Majra in Gannaur, Ravinder and Sunny of Garhi Sarai Namdar Khan village in Gohana.
Mohit was the brother-in-law of Ravinder. Ravi, brother of Ravinder, in his complaint to the Gohana City police, said his sister Manisha was married to Mohit four years ago. His brother-in-law Mohit and sister Manisha came to their village. He further said Ravinder, along with Mohit and neighbour Sunny went to a hotel near Mahra village on Saturday night. As they reached the nearby Reliance petrol pump, a truck coming from Rohtak side, hit the two-wheeler and they received serious injuries.
The police with the help of commuters admitted them to the Gohana Civil Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
After receiving the information, they reached the hospital. The truck driver has been identified as Dheeraj Kumar of Parmandpur in Bihar. However, he managed to flee from the spot along with the truck. The Gohana City police have registered a case and began a probe into the matter. The police handed over the bodies to thee kin after postmortem examination.
