Students of St Lawrence International School, Jagadhri, displayed their talent at the science and mathematics exhibition organised under the guidance of Chairperson Rajni Sehgal. The students presented more than 250 models and projects, inspired by science education.
During the exhibition, Sanjay Choudhry, chief executive officer at ISGEC, child counsellor Lalita Chaudhary and senior software developer Naman Sehgal were present as distinguished guests.
Sanjay said education in science and technology was significant for the development of the country. He said without it, no country could move forward on the path of development.
Lalita boosted the morale of the students by giving them the example of Thomas Edison.
Sehgal said the science exhibition helped in the all-round development of students as it helped them grow not only intellectually but also educationally and psychologically.
Chairman and eminent educationist MK Sehgal lauded the efforts of the teachers who helped in organising the exhibition and encouraged them to continue their good work.
Chairperson Rajni said the exhibition would develop science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) thinking among the students and would raise their morale. She advised students to make environment and earth-protection models.
