Two women were killed in two separate road accidents in Yamunanagar district.

The deceased have been identified as Prakasho Devi of Ambli village and Renu of Yamunanagar.

Mohit Kumar of Ambli village told the police that he along with his mother Prakasho Devi was going to the house of a relative in Shyam Sunder Puri Colony of Jagadhri on October 12.

He said when they reached near Kail village, their motorcycle was hit by a car from the rear side.He further said his mother fell down and she suffered serious injuries in the accident.

He said she was taken to Civil Hospital, Jagadhri, where she was referred to the PGI, Chandigarh, but they took her to a private hospital in Yamunanagar.

He added that his mother died at the private hospital yesterday afternoon.

On the complaint of Mohit, a case was registered against an unidentified car driver under Sections 281 and 106 of the BNS at the Sadar police station, Jagadhri, today.

In another road accident, Renu of Yamunanagar died. Bablu of Uttar Pradesh, at present living in Yamunanagar told the police that he along with Renu was going to a religious place in Himachal Pradesh yesterday.

He said when they reached near Jaroda village, their motorcycle was hit by a private bus.He further said that they fell down and Renu sustained serious injuries.

He added that she was rushed to a hospital in Jagadhri, where she was declared brought dead.

On the complaint of Bablu, a case was registered against an unidentified bus driver under Sections 281 and 106 (1) of the BNS at City police station, Jagadhri, yesterday.
