2 Independent MLAs extend support to BJP after Haryana results

Two of the three Independents, who won the elections in Haryana, have extended support to the BJP.

Devender Kadian (Gannaur) and Rajesh Joon (Bahadurgarh) extended the support to the saffron party after meeting senior leaders, including Dharmendra Pradhan and Biplab Dev, in-charge and co-in charge for the Haryana assembly polls respectively, in New Delhi on Wednesday.

The MLAs claimed that since the mandate was for the BJP they have extended support to the saffron party.

Besides, these two, Savitri Jindal, a BJP rebel and mother of party's Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal had also won the election from Hisar.

With these two MLAs, the BJP now has support of 50 legislators.
