Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with several Union Ministers, and the Chief Ministers of 18 states and one Union Territory (UT), are expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Haryana Council of Ministers in Panchkula on October 17. The event aims to be a grand and memorable occasion. Deputy Chief Ministers from eight states will also be present.
A total of 35 IAS officers have been assigned as Liaison-cum-Protocol Officers to coordinate with the dignitaries’ private secretaries, ensuring smooth logistics, including venue details, minute-to-minute scheduling, and accommodation. Some of these officers hold positions as Deputy Commissioners.
In addition to the IAS officers, a significant number of HCS and police personnel have been appointed to assist with the oath-taking ceremony. “The duty protocol officers will ensure the VVIPs and dignitaries are received and seen off punctually upon arrival and departure,” an official communiqué said. “They will accompany the invitees to their accommodation, ensure smooth allocation of rooms, timely service of food, and that they are seated comfortably at the venue,” the statement added.
Sources said the Chief Ministers from Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry (UT), Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand will attend the ceremony.
Elaborate preparations are in place, confirmed BJP state co-media incharge, Shamsher Kharak. “Besides political figures, we have invited eminent personalities such as sportspersons, industrialists, doctors, advocates, and social activists to celebrate this historic win,” said Kharak. “Party office-bearers, from Mandal to state levels, have also been invited to witness this significant event.”
