The vice-president of the college governing body, Parveen Goel, was the chief guest at the camp. He said if the youth of the nation come forward for such a noble cause, then no one in the country would ever die due to the unavailability of blood.

Dr Karuna, Principal of the college, said that donating blood was one of the greatest donations one could make for society. “It doesn’t make you weak, doesn’t leave any negative impact on your body. Instead, it maintains and manages the flow of fresh blood in the body,” he said.
