1 arrested for killing 25-yr-old Yamunanagar woman

Solving the case of a young woman’s murder, the police have arrested a man of Yamunanagar district.

Chamkaur Singh, a police spokesman, said the accused had been identified as Jagmohan Singh of Bana Bahadurpur village. He added that the accused was produced in court in Jagadhri today and sent to three-day police custody. The woman’s body was found lying in afield in Bhawanipur village on June 21. A dupatta was tied around her neck. The deceased had been identified as Batheri (25), alias Sapna, of Golapur village. The police said Jagmohan and Sapna were in a relationship. Sapna was allegedly forcing Jagmohan to divorce his wife, due to which he killed her.
