A three-day art exhibition titled “Harmony in Hues” by Garima Lohumi began on Friday at the iconic Gaiety Theatre in Shimla.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr Pankaj Lalit, Director of Language, Art and Culture Department.

“Instead of confining her talent to painting on the canvas, she had created numerous art pieces — hand-painted phone covers, wooden wall hangings, fridge magnets, key rings, exclusive art printed on T-shirts and tote bags — under the brand Himalayan Canvas,” he said. He especially commended her Himalayan landscapes.

An MBA degree holder with a post graduate certification in Yoga, Garima left her job at multi-national company to pursue her passion for art.
