“These truly amazing masterpieces are national treasures,” said Jitender Kumar, State Head and Executive Director of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). He said this while visiting the Sobha Singh Art Gallery at ‘art village’ Andretta today.

He had heard a lot about Sobha Singh, he added, stating that it was hard to believe that an artist like him existed in our era.

He was a true ‘karamyogi’, and his artworks would act as an inspiration for generations to come, Kumar said. He commended the family of the late artist for taking good care of art gallery, museum and art studio. He said the IOC would extend all help in organising art activities to commemorate the birth anniversary of the artist in November. Kumar was accompanied by senior officers of IOC.
