Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria today presided over 20th convocation of NIT-Jalandhar, wherein 1,293 students were awarded degrees. This included PG Diploma one, BTech 990, MTech 144, MSc 84, MBA 24 and PhD 50 degrees.

Shreya (bio-technology), Shuchi Gupta (chemical engineering), Jiya Garg (civil engineering), Gunika (computer science & engineering), Raghav Gupta (electrical engineering), Preeti (electronics and communication engineering), Arshita Katal (industrial and production engineering), Puneet Singh (information technology), Chakshan Dhir (instrumentation and control engineering), and Radha Mohan Sharma (mechanical engineering) and Anshika Rajput (textile technology) were awarded gold medal for being the BTech 2020-2024 batch branch toppers.

Governor Gulab Chand Kataria motivated students to work harder in life and achieve greater heights. He congratulated parents and teachers for their support, commitment and passion in moulding them. On the occasion, Binod Kumar Kanujia chairman, board of governors, and director, congratulated degree recipients and motivated them for working day and night to fulfil needs of society.
