Civil Surgeon Dr Gurpreet Singh Rai today met Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kumar after taking charge and assured him that he would make all efforts to provide healthcare services that are on the priority list of the state government.

Dr Rai assured that medical officers in the district-level Civil Hospital, Tarn Taran, were working to the satisfaction of patients. He said that the Health Department has appointed two gynaecologists as the facility was needed in the area. He also pointed out that doctors and their staff at the Aam Aadmi Clinics were providing free medical services to the satisfaction of patients.
