GNDU athletics meet from December 14

Guru Nanak Dev University is all set to host the 54th Annual Inter-College Athletics Meet (men and women) 2024-25 from 14th to 16th December at the GNDU campus. This event will bring together top athletic talent from colleges across the region to compete in a variety of track and field events.

Dr Kanwar Mandeep Singh, Director Sports, said that the meet will feature an exciting lineup of events, including the 20 KM Walk, Hammer Throw, 100M Heats & Finals, Pole Vault Final, 400M Hurdles, High Jump, 1500M, Shot Put, 10,000M, Broad Jump, Discus Throw, Triple Jump, 5000M, Javelin Throw, and the Half Marathon. Decathlon and Heptathlon events such as 110M Hurdles, 400M, Discus Throw, Broad Jump, Pole Vault, 1500M (Decathlon), and 200M (Heptathlon) will also be contested. The relay event, 4x100M, promises a thrilling finish to the meet.
