Children’s Day was celebrated at the school. The event started with ribbon cutting by Principal Monika Puri, who shared the significance of the occasion by remembering Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s love and contribution for children’s welfare. The celebration began with lots of amusing and challenging games, which were played by the children of classes I to VIII with great zeal. Apart from games, there were exemplary plays that were performed by students of the school on the theme “Save trees” and biography of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Azaad. The celebration continued with an energetic and mesmerising dance performance by Bal Vatika students. Students showed their innovative and creative dressing ideas through a fancy dress competition. The performances ended with high-spirited bhangra. Students got a surprise of a wonderful magic show, which astounded the whole audience. Monika Puri acknowledged the efforts and hard work of the teachers in organising the event.
