Prof Narsi Ram Bishnoi, Vice-Chancellor, said the Times had ranked more than 2,000 institutions from 115 countries worldwide in The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025. ‘The Times’ has ranked 107 higher educational institutes from India and GJUST, is the only state government university from Haryana to mark its presence in the rankings.

Bishnoi also said the rankings were based on five key indicators grouped into five areas: Teaching, research environment, research quality, industry and international outlook. The university has a total score of 25.2-30.6.

The university has scored 30.6 in teaching, 10.4 in research environment, 44.9 in research quality, 30.9 in industry and 18.2 in international outlook. He also added that the university has 715th rank in the teaching sub-category, 1,734th rank in research environment, 1,226th rank in research quality, 1,296th rank in industry and 2,078th rank in international outlook.
