Open littering in Shimla

Garbage can be spotted on road leading to Portmore School from Oakover, spoiling the image of the town. Due to the garbage, this stretch of the road seems to have become a favourite haunt for monkeys, much to the pedestrians’ dismay. The authorities concerned should ensure cleanliness in the area, and exhort people not to throw trash in the open.

Tests not being done in IGMC labs

Patients visiting IGMC have to face a lot of inconvenience as tests for diabetes and thyroid-related problems are not being done in the government labs here. As a result, patients have no choice but get their tests done in private labs. Patients have to wait in queues for hours and have to face delays in treatment. The hospital administration is requested to ensure that all the tests should be done in government labs.
