The BJP workers said it was not less than a Diwali for them as their senior leader had won the seat.

BJP leader Ajay Baweja said, “We were confident that our senior leader Anil Vij will secure a victory by a comfortable margin and we are thankful to the people of Ambala that they have supported us. Some people tried to create an atmosphere of uncertainity but they forgot that the BJP has a strong cadre in Ambala Cantonment, who works silently on the ground.”

The people of Ambala have seen the development and the smooth completion of the ongoing projects, so they have elected the BJP.”

Similarly in Ladwa, the party workers burst crackers, distributed sweets and danced to the songs to express their happiness on Nayab Saini’s victory. The party workers said they were happy because Ladwa was now the CM’s segment. The party workers accorded a rousing welcome to Nayab Saini at the party office.
