Four youths loot Dhakoli liquor vend

Four armed youths fired gunshots and looted a liquor vend near Mamta Enclave in Dhakoli around 11:10 pm yesterday. Salesman Manoj Kumar and vend owner Deepak Sandhu were injured in the attack.

The police said four masked men pointed a pistol at Manoj Kumar and asked him to hand over them the cash box. Three youths threatened the vend staff, while one remained seated on the bike nearby. As the youths were fleeing with Rs 10,000, the salesmen tried to stop them. One of the robbers fired a gunshot at Manoj, which hit the basement wall. After hearing the commotion, vend owner Deepak Sandhu also confronted the youths. One of the assailants fired another shot and they fled the spot.
