Jatinder Mittal, former district president of BJP, was attacked by unidentified assailants at his factory in Ludhiana last night. Mittal intervened in a fight between two groups outside his factory, but the attackers pushed him and began pelting stones and bricks at the factory.

Mittal stated that he was inside his factory when he heard a commotion outside. Upon investigation, he found two groups fighting. Despite repeated calls to the police, the station head didn’t respond. However, Mittal managed to contact senior police officials, and officers arrived at the scene, detaining several assailants.

In a shocking turn of events, as Mittal exited the factory, an assailant attempted to strike him with an iron rod. Fortunately, his friend’s son intervened, grabbing the rod and saving Mittal’s life.

The police are currently investigating the incident based on Mittal’s complaint.
