Extension lecture on business challenges, marketing mgmt
An extension lecture on marketing management and business challenges was held at CMK National Postgraduate College on Wednesday, featuring keynote speaker Sachin Bansal, Global VP of Strategic Alliances at ANYbotics. Bansal, who travelled from Zurich, Switzerland, was accompanied by his wife, Dr Sharmila Rao Bansal, from the University of Zurich.
The programme commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony conducted by Sirsa Education Society president Arvind Bansal, general secretary Suresh Goyal, and college Principal Dr Ranjana Grover. In his address, Sachin Bansal emphasised the significance of hard work and embracing challenges as vital components of success in business. He covered essential topics such as market research, teamwork and the distinctions between B2C (business-to-consumer) and B2B (business-to-business) markets.
Dr Sharmila Rao Bansal also inspired the students, highlighting the crucial role of education in overcoming life’s challenges. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, during which Bansal addressed various student inquiries related to the business world.
At the event’s conclusion, Suresh Goyal expressed his gratitude to the speakers, and college officials honoured the Bansal couple with mementos. The event was organised efficiently by Dr Deepika Sharma, Head of Journalism and Mass Communication, and saw active participation of staff, NCC cadets and NSS volunteers.
