US-based singer and songwriter Sruthi Dhulipala talks about her musical explorations in Sanskrit, Telugu and Hindi for the next three releases.

The young artiste, who is originally from Hyderabad, has Carnatic music in her blood. Based in the US, she has embraced her Carnatic heritage warmly while seamlessly blending it in all that she composes and sings – more notably the ready-to-release three independent singles – ‘Madhuram’ a Sanskrit composition, followed by one in Telugu and the third in Hindi. Sruthi says, “I learned Madhurashtakam as a kid and would sing the M.S. Subbulakshmi version often at concerts.”
