Singer Kulwinder Billa, actor Jobanpreet Singh, actresses Sara Gurpal, Mandy Takkar, Ankita Sharma and Simi Chahal among others got-together for a party hosted by Dr Sukhsagar Ratol.

The Seville in Sector 26, the venue for the party, dazzled with shimmers and silhouettes, though it took a few rounds of snacks and green tea for the guests to warm up. Jovial Jobanpreet, whose recent film Jahankilla has won hearts of the viewers, was the only exception. He ignored the lure of his mobile phone to meet and greet everyone the moment he arrived.

But once the mood of party set in, the celebs talked animatedly. Simi Chahal, in a lovely pink sharara, went around posing for pictures. Sara Gurpal, who moved to Mumbai six months back, was excited to talk about it. “Mumbai loves people from Punjab. I am having a great time there, though Chandigarh remains home forever,” said Sara.

Jobanpreet talked about his upcoming release, Kikli, in which he shares screen spaced with Wamiqa Gabbi and Mandy Takhar.

Talking of Mandy, who got married in February and now calls herself Mandy T Kaushal, was just back from the shoots of Ehna Nu Rehna Sehna Nahi in Canada. Happy that she could return before the festive times, she shared, “Diwali is the time to spend at home.”

Time Table 2 hit-maker Kulwinder Billa, not much of a party person, made a hasty exit, but not without imparting a bit of information, “I am working on an album next, two film projects are on too.”

Ankita Sharma, who has to her credit shows like Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman and Laal Ishq, talked about the series, The Whistleblower. “TV is pretty streamlined, one gets shows based on auditions,” she said. She is now keen on Punjabi movies.

The host, Dr Sukhsagar Ratol, skin specialist, was happy to have her loyal clients along with her family and friends. She ensured that her guests felt at home!
