Shah Rukh Khan, the undisputed badshah of Bollywood, completed 30 years in the film industry on June 25. The young boy from Delhi with dreams in his eyes and unmatched physical energy has made it big three decades down the line. The actor started off by playing small roles in long-running television series before he ventured into cinema.

He made his silver screen debut in 1992 with the film Deewana and has since appeared in more than 80 films. To celebrate three decades of SRK, Yash Raj Films unveiled the first look poster of SRK’s intensely guarded look from Pathaan. Director Siddharth Anand says, “This is team Pathaan’s way of saying thank you to Shah Rukh for the countless memories and smiles that he has given all of us in his incredible journey in cinema.”

Talking about SRK’s role in the film, he adds, “Shah Rukh is the alpha man on a mission in this action spectacle, which will hopefully set new benchmarks for the genre in India. When you have Shah Rukh Khan in your film, along with superstars like Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, you have to reach for the stars in every department.” —TMS
