The trailer of Akshay Kumar’s much-anticipated film Bell Bottom was released on Tuesday evening and by looking at the trailer, one can expect nothing but edge-of-the-seat entertainment from the film. Akshay plays the role of a spy in the movie, who is ready to tackle threats pertaining to national security. However, social media is intrigued by the looks of another actor in the film.

People are going crazy over Lara Dutta’s portrayal of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It would be fair to say that one must look not twice but thrice to recognise the actress in the film.

Lara Dutta’s transformation had Twitter blow up in no time as netizens were in all praise for the people behind the actress’ character.

One social media user shared a screengrab of Lara from the trailer and wrote, “Give this makeup artist a national award in advance…Did anyone notice? She is #laradutta. Phenomenal work #BellBottomTrailer.” While another couldn’t help asking, “Is that Lara Dutta?” Interestingly, during an earlier media interaction, Lara had urged people to guess her role in the movie as she had said, “If anyone is able to guess, then I will take all their family members free to the theatres.”
