At a glittering evening in Ludhiana, models showcased outfits by renowned designers

Models set the ramp on fire in Ludhiana last evening, as they walked in the latest outfits of renowned designers JJ Valaya, Shantanu Nikhil, Sulakshana Monga, Sureena Chaudhri, Masaba Gupta and Rana Gill. The grand evening was hosted by Sunview Management. Leading Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan stole the limelight as she walked the ramp wearing JJ Valaya’s collection. She was the show-stopper along with the designer himself.

Although not keeping too well, at the end of the show she talked about her upcoming projects. “I have just finished a movie titled Metro, directed by Anurag Basu, opposite actor Aditya Roy Kapoor,” she said.

The actress, who is known for her fitness goals, also shared that she was coming up in a movie opposite Ayushman Khurana, which is a Seekheya Dharma co-production. “Right now, my focus is on more work. For movies, events or whatever it is, I want to keep visiting various parts of the country as I thoroughly enjoy it. I have been to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and also Chandigarh, but this is my first visit to Ludhiana,” she added. Meanwhile, the latest collections of top designers were displayed elegantly by the models. Intricate work to silhouettes to latest cuts and patch-work, the models did complete justice to the hard labour of the designers and their team. Gulh Malhotra, a young girl from Ludhiana, said she had never witnessed a fashion show of this level! Local bloggers and socialites were present to witness the show, which was well curated by the organisers, who had especially flown from Delhi and Mumbai.

At the end, JJ Valaya shared, “It feels great to showcase my outfits in Ludhiana. I am really encouraged by the lovely response and hope people have liked my latest collection.”
