The UT police today recorded the statement of Elante mishap victim Surbhi Jain.

Maisha Dixit, a 13-year-old child artist, and her aunt Surbhi were injured when a large granite slab fell on them from a pillar at the mall on September 29. The incident occurred when they were celebrating Maisha’s birthday. The two were posing for photos when the slab fell on them. They were taken to a private hospital and were discharged later.

The police said an FIR would be registered soon.
