Draw for cracker licence in Panchkula today

A draw to issue 20 temporary licences for setting up stalls to sell green crackers in the subdivision will be held on October 26.

Deputy Commissioner Yash Garg said in view of Diwali, the administration has designated sites for the sale of green crackers. Applications for temporary licences to set up stalls would be received at the office of Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Mini-Secretariat, till 2 pm on October 26. The draw to issue licences will be held at 5 pm.

The Deputy Commissioner said that while 13 stalls would be set up in the parking lot behind the Hafed building in Panchkula city, two each would come up at Government Senior Secondary School in Ramgarh and Government Senior Secondary School of Barwala, and three at Netaji Stadium in Raipur Rani.
