Dr. Bhavika Makkar, a distinguished dentist and compassionate philanthropist, was crowned Mrs. India Legacy 2024 'Beauty with Purpose' on November 12, 2024, in a glittering ceremony held at Talkatora Stadium, Gurgaon. The event, organized by Mrs. Amisha Chaudhary, Founder and Director of the National Pageant Mrs. India Legacy, celebrated the achievements of women who balance professional excellence and social impact.

The prestigious title recognizes Dr. Bhavika's unwavering commitment to combining beauty with a mission. Her crowning moment was witnessed by a vibrant audience and a global digital viewership, as the event was live-streamed on 'The Great Pageant Community' YouTube channel. In a heartfelt gesture, Mr. Devendra Kumar, Founder and Chairman of the Ladli Foundation, announced Dr. Bhavika as the brand ambassador for the Ladli Foundation in the USA, India, and Africa for the reigning period 2024-2025. Her new role is expected to amplify the Foundation’s efforts in empowering underprivileged girls and women across continents.

Dr. Bhavika chose to mark her homecoming by giving back to the community. She celebrated her victory with the children of Mathrubhoomi Organization, a Bangalore-based NGO dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children. Her presence brought joy and inspiration to the young beneficiaries, exemplifying her commitment to using her platform for meaningful causes.

At 29 years old, Dr. Bhavika has already carved an impressive path. Originally from Ludhiana and married in Ambala, she is a highly skilled Prosthodontist—a dentist specializing in the rehabilitation and replacement of teeth and other parts of the mouth. She has worked as a consultant at esteemed institutions like Jaypee and Fortis Hospital in Noida before relocating to Bangalore. Despite her demanding career, she embraced the challenges of motherhood and is the proud mother of her three-year-old son, Karya.

Dr. Bhavika’s foray into pageantry was driven by her desire to explore new dimensions of life and make a broader impact. “I have always wanted to taste the different flavors of life,” she shared. “Winning this title is not the culmination of a dream but the beginning of a journey to balance my ambitions with my responsibilities as a mother and a wife.”

Dr. Bhavika attributes her success to her family’s unwavering support. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to her husband, Tushar Makkar, whom she describes as the “silent hero” behind her accomplishments. “None of this would have been possible without his encouragement and belief in me,” she said. Dr. Bhavika highlighted her mother, Charu Nagpal’s role as an inspiration for balancing life with moral virtues.

Her ambitions also extend to entrepreneurship. “I want to justify my title even more by starting my entrepreneurial journey soon,” she revealed, hinting at exciting ventures ahead.
