The Indian Medical Association of Doraha and Sahnewal protested against the rape and murder of the Kolkata doctor and demanded the severest punishment for the guilty. The dharna was organised at Sidhu Hospital, Doraha, today.

The association passed a unanimous decision to protest and condemn the incident at RGK Medical College, Kolkata, in strongest possible words under the command of its president Dr Ravinder Sidhu and Secretary Dr Mandeep Bhangu. “This incident has angered the medical fraternity. The safety of doctors at the workplace and in general is very dismal,” rued the president of the association Dr. Sidhu.
