Punjabi singer Garry Sandhu was allegedly attacked during a live performance in Australia. The incident occurred when a fan ran to the stage and attempted to choke Sandhu.

Security and police present at the event caught the attacker and took him off the stage before arresting him.

As per reports, the attacker became aggressive after Sandhu made an offensive gesture considered socially not accepted by raising his middle finger towards the crowd.

The offensive gesture did not go down well with the fan and it trigged him, leading to the confrontation on stage.

It was after a brief struggle that the security managed to pull Sandhu away from the attacker. Garry Sandhu has not released an official statement regarding the incident. Meanwhile, videos of the altercation have surfaced on social media, drawing mixed reactions.
