In a move to support the welfare of police personnel and their families, e-libraries have been established in the Police Lines of Gurugram, Manesar and Bhondsi. The libraries, inaugurated today by Haryana’s Director General of Police (DGP) Shatrujeet Kapur, also include foreign language learning centres to help police employees and their children learn new languages.

DGP Kapur said 18 such libraries have been set up in police lines so far. He said the facility would benefit police employees and their children, especially those preparing for competitive exams.

The three new libraries in Gurugram are equipped with modern amenities to provide a conducive learning environment. These libraries are designed to make it easier for police employees and their families, particularly students, to access study materials and resources for competitive exams. “In addition to books and novels for exam preparation, these libraries also offer facilities to learn foreign languages,” the DGP added.
