Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today inspected a newly constructed bus stand at Dhalli, which has been built at a cost of about Rs 13 crore. The new facility will be inaugurated soon.

The Deputy CM was accompanied by Rural Development Minister Anirudh Singh and Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh.

While emphasising the importance of the bus stand, Agnihotri said the complex would have 13 shops, a conference hall, a rest room, ticket counter, toilets, waiting room, activity room and canteen, with two regional managers overseeing the operations.

An workshop adjacent to the bus stand will be renovated at a cost of Rs 24 crore, improving working conditions for employees, he said. Stating that the Himachal Road Transport Corporation had entered its 50th year, Agnihotri said the corporation was aiming to reach new heights.
