The state government has provided two mobile dental vans to the Government Dental College in Amritsar and Patiala to create awareness about dental hygiene and conduct dental check-up camps in the villages. As part of the efforts, the Punjab Government Dental College and Hospital, Amritsar, flagged off a mobile dental van today. MDS and BDS students of the college will educate the general public about dental diseases. Director-Principal Dr Rainu Bala Saroya flagged off the van. Awareness of harmful effects of tobacco consumption on oral health will also be created.

Faculty members Dr Sukhwinder Pal Singh, Dr Nitin Verma, Dr Nirpjit Kaur, Dr Baljit Kumar, Dr Sukhjit Kaur, Dr Paramjit, Dr Jaswinder Singh besides PG and UG students were present on

the occasion.
