Dense fog led to two road accidents here today, in which no one was killed but two cars and a truck were badly damaged.

On receiving the information, police teams reached the spot and got the damaged vehicles removed to the roadside with the help of hydraulic machines.

In the wee hours, a tractor-trailer laden with wood developed some snag while crossing a bridge on the Abohar-Sriganganagar highway near Kallarkhera village. Its driver left the vehicle on the roadside and went somewhere. Later, when Ayub Khan, the driver of the truck carrying salt from Phalodi to Amritsar, was crossing the bridge, he could not see the tractor parked on the road due to dense fog. It rammed into the tractor-trailer due to which the front part of the truck was badly damaged while Ayub suffered minor injuries. He was taken to Abohar Civil Hospital.
