Women Shakti Abhiyan launched

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) president Devender Yadav launched the Women Shakti Abhiyan through the Indira Fellowship Programme on Wednesday. The initiative, announced at a press conference at the DPCC office, seeks to ensure 50 percent representation for women across all fields, including politics and governance. A dedicated phone line (8860712345) was introduced for women to join the programme by giving a missed call. “The Indira Fellowship Programme is a tribute to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, and it is Congress’s effort to ensure that women are given their rightful space in politics, governance, and every sector,” Yadav said. “This initiative, first launched by Rahul Gandhi in 2023 and relaunched last week, is gaining momentum. Over the next year, we will focus on training women to take on leadership roles and make their mark in every field.”
