Reacting to the alleged attack on him on Saturday evening, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said, “Will crime rates reduce by stopping me? Will shootouts stop happening? Will women and traders no longer face threats? Amit Shah should focus on curbing rising crime in Delhi. He won’t achieve anything by silencing me.”

Senior AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia accused the BJP of orchestrating the attack, labelling it as an attempt to intimidate Kejriwal. “Today a BJP goon attacked Arvind Kejriwal. Yesterday, he questioned the deteriorating law and order in Delhi, and today, he was cowardly attacked. But let this be clear—you’re dealing with Arvind Kejriwal. He won’t be intimidated by your goons or their attacks,” he said in a post on X.

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi condemned the attack as a “shameful act” by the BJP. “The frustration of losing the Delhi elections for the third time is evident. BJP beware, the people of Delhi will respond to such disgraceful actions. Last time, you won 8 seats; this time, Delhiites will reduce you to zero,” she said.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann echoed similar sentiments, criticising the BJP, “Whenever the BJP fails to fulfil its responsibilities, it resorts to violence and intimidation. This is the third attack on Kejriwal in 35 days,”

Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh accused BJP workers of orchestrating multiple attacks on Kejriwal. “In Vikaspuri, it was members of the BJP Youth Wing. In Nangloi, it was a BJP MP who led goons. And today, in Greater Kailash, the attacker was a BJP worker,” Singh alleged.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik in a post on X said, “Today's attack on the former Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal is reprehensible and a matter of concern. The law and order situation in Delhi has completely collapsed. A former Chief Minister is not safe in Delhi. Will the Modi government be able to provide security to the common people?”
