What our readers say: Expedite construction of roundabout near sector 3
THE construction of a roundabout near Sector 3 has been progressing at a snail’s pace, causing significant inconvenience to commuters. Despite work starting over six weeks ago, the responsible agency is yet to complete the project, turning the area into a traffic bottleneck and increasing the risk of accidents, particularly during peak traffic hours. A low-lying sewage manhole at this location further adds to the commuters’ problems, especially at night. The authorities must expedite the completion of this project to ensure the safety of commuters. Sukhvir Vashist, Faridabad
Dog bite cases on the rise
THE recent dog-bite incident at Takshila Society in Gurugram was inevitable, as the entire city is grappling with the growing dog menace, and around 100 such cases are reported daily. The problem is exacerbated by unhygienic conditions, with garbage strewn everywhere. Even as the administration offers unsatisfactory explanations for the failure of its efforts, residents have the right to demand swift action to eliminate this nuisance. Ramesh Gupta, Gurugram
