Prime Minister Narendra Modi has agreed to meet 101-year-old former Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Shri Mangal Sain Handa during his visit to Kuwait this Saturday. The meeting comes in response to a request from Handa’s granddaughter, Shreya Juneja.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), PM wrote, "Absolutely! I look forward to meeting @MangalSainHanda Ji in Kuwait today."

Shreya Juneja had appealed to the PM on Friday, urging him to meet her grandfather, a longtime admirer of Modi, during his interaction with the Indian diaspora in Kuwait. She had also shared the details with the Prime Minister’s office via email.
