New Delhi: A 26-year-old Civil Services aspirant was electrocuted after he touched an iron gate that had electricity running through it following heavy rains in central Delhi’s Patel Nagar area, the police said on Tuesday. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon when Nilesh Rai, an engineer and a native of Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh, had stepped out of his PG accommodation to buy something. pti
Re-conduct NEET: NSUI
New Delhi: Members of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) staged a protest outside Shastri Bhawan here on Tuesday, demanding re-conduct of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET). NSUI Delhi in-charge Honey Bagga said, “This government is showing its anti-student face. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan should resign if he can’t ensure justice for students.”
