L-G okays development of Baprola

New Delhi, August 9

Lieutenant-Governor (L-G) VK Saxena on Friday approved the re-notification of the Baprola industrial area to be developed as ‘Industrial Park’, Raj Niwas officials said.

The entire land area of 54.89 hectares is to be developed under the Delhi Industrial Development, Operation and Maintenance (DIDOM) Act, 2010, they added.

“The approval has been granted with condition that the land earmarked for various land uses in the layout plan notified by the Ministry of Urban Development, on December, 2013, is to be maintained and the activities permitted within industrial use zone shall be strictly as per Master Plan of Delhi – 2021 or 2041 (whichever is applicable),” an official said. — TNS
